Samson’s Take: 5 years jail for sharing fake news

Vaccine hesitancy is a major threat to our collective health and safety as Covid-19 doesn’t give any clue of abating to vanish. We must continue to fight Covid to end its devastation. Africa faces double trouble struggling to get the vaccines and burst dangerous myths and fake news, scaring some of its people who can’t afford or don’t want to observe the protocols – the easiest, cheapest, yet best protection.

Samson’s Take: Article 146 not dirty politics playground

In 2018, I wrote a 10-page article to educate on the now famous Article 146 impeachment law and process. This was when then EC Boss Charlotte Osei and her deputies were undergoing that sham of a probe engineered by the ugly partisan politics, which if not checked, will divide this country even more to destroy it. The Bank and the IGP encouraged his example by giving him almost six times the amount, including an investment.

Samson’s Take: The value honesty

Sunday night, I was privileged to join two accomplished and respected senior lawyers, Dr Benjamin Kunbuor and Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong to speak to students who have just completed their law degree at GIMPA. The consummate academic who has been back at Legon teaching postgraduate law students chose to speak about nothing but the need to have a value system.
